The Manufacturing module of the system enables users to manage production processes, create and maintain recipes, configure manufacturing settings, and generate detailed reports. This module ensures efficient management of manufacturing activities, accurate tracking of production, and comprehensive reporting. Below is a detailed guide on how to perform various tasks within the Manufacturing module.

1. Recipe

The Recipe feature allows users to create and manage recipes (Bill of Materials) used in the production process.

• View Recipes List: See all recipes with details such as recipe name, components, quantities, and cost.
• Add Recipe: Create new recipes by specifying the recipe name, components, quantities, and associated costs.
• Edit Recipe: Modify existing recipes by updating the components, quantities, or cost information.
• Delete Recipe: Remove recipes that are no longer needed.
• Search Recipes: Use the search bar to find specific recipes by name or components.
• Filter Recipes: Apply filters to narrow down the recipes list based on criteria such as component, cost, or production requirements.

2. Production

The Production feature allows users to manage and track the production process.

• View Production Orders: See all production orders with details such as order number, recipe, quantity, start date, and status.
• Create Production Order: Initiate new production orders by selecting the recipe, specifying the quantity to be produced, and setting the start date.
• Update Production Order: Modify existing production orders by updating the quantity, start date, or status.
• Track Production Progress: Monitor the progress of production orders, including stages of completion and any issues encountered.
• Complete Production Order: Mark production orders as complete when the production process is finished.
• Search Production Orders: Use the search bar to find specific production orders by order number, recipe, or date.
• Filter Production Orders: Apply filters to narrow down the production orders list based on criteria such as status, start date, or recipe.

3. Settings

The Settings feature allows users to configure various manufacturing-related preferences and options.

• Configure Production Settings: Set preferences for production processes, such as default production quantities, lead times, and batch sizes.
• Manage Recipe Settings: Define settings related to recipes, such as default component units, cost calculation methods, and wastage allowances.
• User Permissions: Define user roles and permissions for accessing and managing manufacturing features.
• System Settings: Adjust system settings related to the manufacturing processes and workflows.

4. Manufacturing Report

The Manufacturing Report feature provides detailed reports on manufacturing activities to help users analyze production performance and efficiency.

• Generate Reports: Create various manufacturing reports such as production efficiency, cost analysis, and wastage reports.
• Customize Reports: Adjust report parameters such as date range, recipes, and production orders.
